Suwaiq booked their place in the 2018 AFC group stages, as they drew 1-1 with Hilal Al Quds in the second leg of the West Zone play-off at the Seeb Stadium.
Al Suwaiq sealed the tie 2-1 overall, thanks to a 1-0 win in Palestine.
A goal from national striker Abdulaziz Al Muqbali was quite enough to give Al Suwaiq the equalizer and secure their group stage spot for the sixth time in the history of the competition.
Mohammed Yami gave Hilal Al Quds the lead in the 19th minute, but Abdulaziz AlMuqbali equalized in the 69th minute after he received a classy pass from Mahmoud Mabrouk.
Al Suwaiq will play in Group A which includes: Malkiya (Bahrain), Al Jazeera (Jordon) and Al Quwa Al Jawiya (Iraq). While Dhofar will play in Group C with Al Wahda (Syria), Al Ansar (Lebanon), and Al Faisaly or Al Wehdat (Jordon).
